The “Study of Humanity” is called as anthropology. Human beings are biologically termed as Homo sapiens. They widely differ from other animal species. Since the middle 20th century anthropology has gained a significant importance because of its feature and diversity. Study of the biology and the evolution of humanity is called as physical anthropology. The branches were social and cultural activities of the human group, studied are called as cultural anthropology [otherwise called “Ethnology”], social anthropology, psychological anthropology, and linguistic anthropology. Archeology (investigation of pre-historic culture) is always an integral part of anthropology, because it became an important discipline in the 19th century.
